Robert Pressler's BYOT classes will return soon!
Classes meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month in two sessions--except in January where they start on the 15th.The morning session start at 9:30am and ends at 12 noon. The afternoon session starts at 1pm and ends at 3:30pm.
Each session is 2 1/2 hours and costs $30, including the use of tools, soil, wire etc.. Students can bring their own tree or purchase one here.
Due to the popularity of these classes and size restrictions reservations must be made in advance by calling the nursery at 818 343-4090, or emailing kimurabonsai64@gmail.com at least two weeks prior to the dates you want.
Michael Roberts - Winter thru Summer Workshops and BYOT (Bring Your Own Tree) schedule
Kimura Bonsai Nursery is pleased to announce part of our 2023 education schedule at Kashi no ki-en in Castaic, CA starting January 14th 2023! Michael Roberts has been a practicing bonsai artist for over 25 years and is well known throughout the state as a serious practitioner. His trees are recognized throughout the bonsai community for their scale, advanced ramification and artistry. Workshops are scheduled on the 2nd Saturday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm each month (unless otherwise noted). Class sizes are limited to 8 participants and require advance reservation.
